Elixir Organics began in Salons, when award-winning stylist Jennifer Hennessey saw a need for a truly organic product that performed to salon standards. After 4 years of formulating, Elixir came to fruition in September of 2004 in the form of 2 shampoos and 2 conditioners. Initially available only in salons, Elixir is now available in traditional retail and online outlets, as the demand.... well, demanded.

The product is what every good personal care product should be... safe. Elixir's purpose is to provide the discerning consumer with a product free of sulfates, parabens, colors, artificial fragrance or preservatives, propylene glycol, DEA, or any other synthetic, petroleum derived or otherwise harmful ingredients. The ingredients we do use are organic... essential oils, herbs, conditioning oils, plant extracts. Plain and simple, it's pure.

Performance, however, is not lost in attaining purity. All 4 products live up to salon standards.... High lather shampoos, thick, concentrated conditioners, all safe for colored hair. Curious how? All Elixir products are curative for skin irritations, and are perfect for allergic scalps. You'll notice less irritation from the first use. All products are vegan friendly and made in Canada with only the most natural and organic ingredients and never tested on animals. Synthetic ingredients are never added.
