Dr. Goldfaden, founder of Goldfaden skin care, has been a practicing dermatologist in Florida for more than 40 years, where he treats patients of all ages for a wide variety of skin conditions, many of them accentuated by the harsh Florida sun. In his years of treatment and diagnosis, he was often frustrated by the lack of effective products available on the market. As Dr. Goldfaden was conducting research for his fledgling brand, he discovered his breakthrough ingredient not in the laboratory, but at his mother-in-law's.

Dr. Goldfaden noticed that while his mother-in-law did little to take care of her skin, it still looked youthful, even into her 90s. The key, she said, was the copious amounts of red tea she consumed. Grown only in South Africa, red tea is abundant in antioxidants, which act to protect not only our skin, but our entire bodies against damaging factors such as sun exposure, smoking and even the aging process. Dr Goldfaden realized that by incorporating the red tea antioxidants, he could create a skin care line that goes above and beyond to protect our skin from aging, and even correct premature aging. With this discovery, the Goldfaden skin care line was born.
